Lo & Co. Interiors, Al Dente Collection
If you’re missing the glamour of the 2026 Hollywood awards season, then we’ve got you covered. Consider this: seven new hardware designs that are far more practical than an Oscar, BAFTA, or Golden Globe. Here, we spotlight the “winners” (plus one honorable mention) among the best new handles, pulls, and more. Products from Richelieu, Bankston Architectural, Rocky Mountain Hardware, Art & Forge, QuadroDesign, and Lo & Co Interiors demonstrate excellence in accessibility, innovation, aesthetics, and practicality.
Bankston Architectural, Streaks collection
Bankston has come up with four new winning designs for the Streaks collection, created as a collab with Sydney-based YSG Studio. The additions include two sliding door options and two accessible solutions—an accessibility privacy turn and a return lever. The naturally colored timber designs, crafted by Australian master woodworkers, are enriched by a niche selection of patinated bronze with a dark, mercurial finish that alchemizes over time to a golden glow where touched.
Art & Forge, Williamsburg Collection, James, Wren, and Francis
They say history repeats itself: Art & Forge, in partnership with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, has created The Williamsburg Collection, three hardware designs drawn directly from the archives and legacy of Colonial Williamsburg. But what’s new is that the handcrafted, recycled, and recyclable solid brass collection of knobs, pulls, and backplates features refined details crafted by artisans in India and is shipped in eco-friendly packaging.
Richelieu, decorative hardware
Introduced at the 2026 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo, Richelieu’s new ADA-compliant decorative hardware allows cabinet doors and drawers to open easily with one hand without turning the wrist or requiring a tight grip or grasping motion. This thoughtful design offers greater autonomy and comfort for children, seniors, or anyone with reduced mobility. Bravo!
Rocky Mountain Hardware, Bliss lever and Dilemma cabinet knob
Interestingly enough, in a real juxtaposition, Rocky Mountain Hardware found both a Dilemma and Bliss. The manufacturer has extended the Phases Collection of kitchen and bath hardware with the Bliss Lever and Dilemma Cabinet Knob. Created in collaboration with Idaho-based Suede Studio, these new pieces are designed with curves, contemporary angles, and the natural texture of cast bronze. What's more, American-made Rocky Mountain Hardware products are cast of 90% post-consumer recycled material.
QuadroDesign
Just because something contributes to a utilitarian task (read: unfavorable and unsexy), that doesn’t mean the product can’t have a refined aesthetic. Take, for example, this wall-mounted toilet brush holder with a removable container. Part of the A14 bathroom accessory series, developed in collaboration between QuadroDesign and Maddalena Casadei, this holder elevates an unsightly tool into a modern accessory. Built around a single structural element (a 14mm diameter tube), the accessory is made of recyclable stainless steel, chosen for its low impact during production, use, and at end of its life span.
Lo & Co. Interiors, Al Dente Collection
Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini says, “Life is a combination of magic and pasta.” It seems like this tasty-looking hardware from Lo & Co Interiors and designer Tali Roth is both. Inspired by iconic pasta shapes like pastina, orecchiette, lasagna, and fettuccine, each piece in the Al Dente collection is thoughtfully handcrafted. The results echo the curves, folds, and creases of traditional pasta-making in a full range of handles, knobs, and entry pulls in pewter, oil-rubbed bronze, polished nickel, and polished brass.
Richelieu, Atipica
While some might see Atipica as just hardware, Richelieu considers this trendsetter an unexpected product that flips the idea of what hardware is on its head. That’s why this collection is worthy of our honorable mention: The five-piece decorative hardware line plays with texture and eccentric geometry, presented in six vibrant hues. Designed by Gianmarco Codato and Luciano Trevisiol, Atipica features a locket-style handle with a waffle-textured base and a pull handle with noteworthy semi-circular Art Deco arches.
